Church Systems |
|
Areac Midlands Limited
is a Christian run company that specialises in
the design, manufacture and installation of quality,
easy to use sound, vision and induction loop systems
in churches. Each system is based on discussions
held at the church and a demonstration during
a Sunday morning service allowing the congregation
to assess the quality of the system. Being a Christian
company we know the needs of churches and understand
the process that has to be undertaken before any
work can be carried out.

Security
| |
With the increase
in theft from churches many of our systems use
a remote unit (similar to the units on the right)
allowing the amplifier to be located in a secure
location with the system controlled from within
the church using a small wired remote unit. The
remote can be permanently wired or connected to
various sockets in the church.

System
Operation
| |
Using a wired
remote unit allows the sound and induction loop
system to be controlled from the rear of the church
or from within the chancel by the priest or person
leading the service. |
|
| Ease
of Use |
All of our systems are easy to use without compromising
on the flexibility of the system. Many of our
systems have muting on/off buttons on each input,
allowing the input to be silently switched on/off
without altering the setting of the volume control.
'Muting' buttons make the system easier to control
as only the required inputs are switched on, thus,
reducing the chances of 'acoustic feedback howl'.

Radio Microphones
| |
We have considerable experience in supplying VHF
and UHF radio microphone systems. Great care is
taken to ensure that the radio microphone system
is suited to the church and its location so that
the 'local taxi firm’ is not heard across
the system during the sermon! For security reasons,
the radio microphone receivers are usually fixed
out of sight with a small indicator located on
the mixer to show when the radio microphone transmitter
has been switched on.

| Installation
|
We have installed equipment
in numerous grade 1 and grade 2 listed buildings.
We take great care so as not to damage the fabric
of the building when running cable and fitting
the speakers or other items of equipment. In a
number of locations the architect has had trouble
finding the speakers and cabling which was painted
to match the colour of the stonework. Whether
the church is listed or not we take just as much
care and pride in our work. |

|
Instructions |
Whilst all our
systems are easy to use, with panels that relate
to the church, a comprehensive instruction manual
specific to the installation is supplied with
each system.

|
Cost
| |
Despite being
custom built, our systems are similar in cost
to 'bought in' equipment, but with the guarantee
that the system will meet your needs and the needs
of the church. For case studies of various church
