Hotel & Hall Systems |
We have installed sound, vision and
induction loop systems in over 40 hotels,
halls and leisure centres. Many of the
systems are custom designed and built
by us, including labels, making the
system specific to the room or building.
As the labels relate to the building
the system is extremely easy to use
without having to read a large instruction
manual or compromising the versatility
of the system.

| Function
Suites |
|
In general all the equipment is housed
in a single wall mounted box or rack
unit. The number of inputs on the mixer
can be adjusted to meet the needs of
the building. Normally six inputs are
provided for hotel function suites,
each input having tone and volume controls
to cater for different microphones and
users.
|
Where the function suite can be split
into a number of rooms a routing matrix
is provided allowing the signal from
each input to be routed to a single
room or a combination of rooms. Such
an arrangement allows the function suite
to be used as a single room or as several
smaller rooms, each with a master volume
control and line output allowing an
event to be recorded.
The microphone sockets in the rooms
are terminated in a patch panel with
the sockets arranged so that they show
the approximate location of the microphones
within the room. Using ‘flying
leads’ from the mixer allows any
input to be connected to any socket.
In addition, many systems have the facility
to switch off various speakers in the
rooms so that a microphone is not used
directly below a speaker. The speaker
switches are arranged in a mimic diagram
showing the approximate location of
the switchable speakers.

Leisure Centres |
|
|
We
have fitted sound and induction loop
systems in a number of local leisure
centres as well as leisure and fitness
centres in hotels. Each system is only
installed after discussing the exact
needs of the users and building, thus,
making the system easy to use. In general
the system uses a 2/3 input mixer amplifier
allowing connection of a line source
and two microphones. Volume controls
are provided on or near the mixer amplifier
allowing adjustment of the background
music levels in various areas of the
complex. In addition we can supply systems
where two or more background music sources
are provided with the signal routed
to various areas. For example one music
source could be routed to the pool with
a separate background music source routed
to the corridors. A paging microphone
is provided at the reception desk with
push buttons allowing signal to be routed
to various areas within the leisure
centre. During paging the background
music signal is silenced before being
returned to its normal level upon completion
of the paging signal.

| Front
& House Sytems |
|
|
The
leisure suite system can easily be adapted
to be used as a Front of House system
in a hotel or other public building.
The system allows background music to
be controlled and routed to any area
in the hotel. All the area controls
are clearly marked. As with the leisure
suite system two or more background
sources could be connected to the system
and routed to different areas in the
hotel. The system would allow paging
from the front desk with routing buttons
allowing selection of the areas to be
paged. |
