Portable Systems
Portable sound and induction loop systems housed in a small lightweight flight case with separate or integral speakers suitable for indoor or outdoor use. We can also provide systems where all the equipment is housed in a wooden cabinet.
Indoor Portable Systems
Portable indoor sound system designed to cover meetings of 150 to 200 people, depending on the arrangement of the seating. The system is easy to set up and operate whilst providing the flexibility required for different meetings and events. Each sound system is custom built to meet the users requirements and usually consists of a mixer amplifier housed in lightweight flight case, two separate small cabinet speakers mounted on light weight stands, a radio microphone and a ‘walkman’ type CD player. As the system is custom built the equipment can be altered to meet the needs of the user including fitting name plates on the equipment.
Our standard mixer allows control of 8 inputs (usually 4 microphone inputs, 2 radio microphone inputs and 2 line inputs) together with adjustment of the overall tone and volume settings. Each input has a volume control and a muting on/off button allowing the input to be silently switched off when not required and back on again at the same volume without touching the volume control. This reduces the number of inputs switched on and thereby reduces the chances of 'acoustic feedback howl'.
A Line Out, recording socket is provided on the unit, independent of the master volume control allowing adjustments to be made to the sound level within the building without altering the recording level. Both the mixer and amplifiers are housed in the same lightweight flight case with a removable lid and approximate dimensions of 450mm wide x 380mm deep x 160mm high.
Normally a radio microphone, a hand held lead microphone and a small C.D. player are provided with the system, although other input sources can be provided. Two small cabinet speakers mounted on lightweight stands are provided with the system and are housed in a plastic carry case. The speakers are connected to the system using sockets on the front panel of the mixer amplifier.

Outdoor Portable Systems
Portable sound system specifically designed for outdoor use on training grounds. The portable unit consists of a battery unit and a four input mixer (2 radio microphone inputs, 1 lead microphone input and a line input). Two Sennheiser UHF radio microphones are permanently housed within the case. The radio microphones have an excellent range allowing the coach to wear a headband microphone and use the system whilst on the pitch with the players. The unit is designed to operate for two consecutive training sessions or about four hours. Sockets are provided on the front panel to allow connection of a normal lead microphone and/or a line input.
Each unit is provided with two integral speakers, rated at 220W peak, that are more than adequate for most applications. The power supply for the internal radio microphones and the mixer amplifier is from a removable battery unit, that can be carried separately indoors to a mains socket for charging. Circuitry has been provided within the portable unit to ensure the batteries are not over-discharged.
All the equipment including a microphone, radio microphones and battery unit, are housed in a single flight case providing a high degree of protection. The flight case is suitable for going through airport baggage handling systems with many of the systems having clocked up a considerable number of air miles! Alternatively the system can be supplied in an ABS plastic case which is considerably lighter as it is not designed for air travel.

Trolley Unit Indoor Sound System
Portable sound and induction loop system using a small trolley unit to house all the equipment. The trolley unit has a wood finish and is mounted on castors allowing the equipment to be stored in a secure location when not required.
Speakers can be housed in the trolley unit or permanently fixed in the room. When speakers and an induction loop cable are permanently fixed, wall sockets are provided allowing easy connection of the trolley unit at one or more locations. 450mm deep.
Normally the trolley unit houses a mixer amplifier with 8 inputs and an integral induction loop amplifier. Microphones can be connected to sockets on the trolley unit or sockets within the room. Radio microphone receivers are also normally located in the trolley unit and are permanently connected to the mixer amplifier. Space is available to allow a cassette deck and C.D. player to be housed in the cabinet. A lockable front door is provided to prevent un-authorised use with the unit having dimensions of 695mm high x 575mm wide x 450mm deep.
